Midnight Return: Premier at Santa Barbara Film Festival
Norbert Weisser reunited at the Santa Barbara Film Festival (2016) with
his friends from his first motion picture, Midnight Express.
Midnight Return is the story of the making of the Academy Award winning
film Midnight Express, and the film’s profound effect on Turkey. It also
explores Hayes’ relationship with Turkey and his own notoriety after his
escape from prison and the subsequent release of the film.
Pictured with Norbert Weisser are Irene Miracle who played Billy’s girl
friend in the film, and Billy Hayes and his wife Wendy.

Come see whodunit in The Queen of Crime’s very first stage play. A stolen atomic
formula, a dead physicist and a country manor full of suspects. Enter Hercule
Poirot, Christie's beloved Belgian sleuth, who employs his little grey cells to solve
the mystery of a potent brew of despair, treachery and deception.
We are delighted to have Special Guest Norbert Weisser join us in the role of
Hercule Poirot. His career includes performances in over one hundred motion
picture and television productions, including such notable films as "Midnight
Express," "Chaplin," "Schlinder's List" and "Pollock." Mr. Weisser has also
performed on Broadway as Rode in Ronald Harwood's "Taking Sides, and has
received LA Drama Critics nominations and LA Weekly, Ovation and Drama Logue
Awards for his work on L.A. stages.

remarkable ease and skill, giving a performance that will long be remembered.
