Stark This movie from 1985 is set in Las Vegas and stars Marilu Henner as Ashley, a casino dealer, and Nicholas Surovy as Evan Stark, a Kansas police officer in Nevada looking for his missing sister. Dennis Hopper also appears as Las Vegas police lieutenant Ron Bliss. Norbert is a cold-hearted killer, Powell, who ends up kidnapping Ashley because he believes she has incriminating photos left behind by Stark's sister, who was once shared an apartment with her. Many of Norbert's movies from the 80's are never shown on television, so I thought you would enjoy seeing a selection of screencaps from a few of them. Not all of these are available on DVD, but there are VHS copies of the other movies available on Amazon.com, usually through third party vendors. Norbert is the "bad guy" in each of these films -- each bad in their own, unique way -- and he looks as if he is having a wonderful time at it! It seems he especially enjoys his work in Stark as a ruthless killer. How can someone smile so nicely as he is about to kill someone?
Recently added to a new 80's movie page are two Sci-Fi films. The first one is an absolutely wonderful movie, Android. It was written by and stars Don Opper as the lovable Android Max 404. If you have never seen this, it is well worth grabbing a copy from Amazon or another retailer as I know you will enjoy it very much. The second film is City Limits, also written by Don Opper. Norbert's son, Morgan, makes a brief appearance in this movie. It's the story of two rival gangs on a futuristic Earth. Veteran actor James Earl Jones is also part of this cast that has several familiar faces. I found this movie at CD Universe. Sweet Lies Norbert plays Bill, a man committing insurance fraud, in this 1988 comedy that stars Treat Williams as Peter Nichol, an insurance claims investigator out to prove that Bill actually has the use of his legs. Every time Peter catches Bill out of his wheelchair, something happens to block the photo opportunity, or the film gets destroyed. Eventually Peter is able to obtain the photos he needs to prove Bill is a phony. This website is presented as a tribute/fansite only and is not officially affiliated in any way with Mr. Weisser.
