These two additions to the site are movies that were both written by Don Opper who also stars in the first one, Android, and has a prominent role in the second film, City Limits. Additional writing credits go to James and Will Reigle on Android and Aaron Lipstadt and James Reigle on City Limits. Aaron Lipstadt was also the director of both of these films.

Both of these are of the Science Fiction genre, but are completely different in tone. While Android is fairly light hearted, City Limits has a darker feel to it. As you would expect, Norbert is the bad guy in both of these movies -- albeit a very charming and handsome one in Android, but a definite villain in City Limits.

Android

City Limits is a look at what could happen in the future if most adults were wiped out by a plague and children were left to raise themselves. It turns out they form into gangs in order to protect each other and survive. John Stockwell plays Lee, a young man raised in the country by Albert, an adult who survived the plague. Lee wants nothing more than to go into town to become a member of a well known gang, the Clippers. He rides off on his motorcycle and manages to become one of them. A rival gang, the DAs, are empowered by a company where Norbert's character, Bolo, is helping them gain control by providing them with weapons. The Clippers manage to get the upper hand and do away with the DAs, Bolo and his evil boss.

This movie also stars, John Stockwell, Darrell Larson, Rae Dawn Chong, James Earl Jones, Kim Cattrall and Don Opper.

City Limits

Android is terrific 1982 Science Fiction movie that was written by Don Opper and James Reigle. While this movie may not have had a large budget like the typical Sci-Fi blockbusters, it is nevertheless still a great movie that is well written with a nice balance of humor, romance and mild villainy.

Norbert plays the role of one of three escaped convicts aboard a stolen spaceship. They claim mayday and are given permission to board a remote space lab, where they believe they will be safe from the space police.

On the lab they meet Max 404, an utterly charming android that was built by Dr. Daniel, the only other inhabitant of the lab. As it turns out, Max is lonely and anxious to have the company of a woman. He welcomes the three onboard and befriends them, mainly because of the woman. He hopes that, among other things, she will be the one to take him to earth, his great desire that Dr. Daniel has denied. I do not want to give away the ending to this film -- you must see it for yourself as it's wonderful.

The movie stars Don Opper, Norbert Weisser, Klaus Kinski, Brie Howard and Crofton Hardester.
